HD-SDI stands for High Definition Serial Digital Interface, this cable can carry a much better quality of video signal.
How can this information help you?
There are households and commercial properties which may have old cables already in place which supported older security cameras. As part of our service we can identify the cable types will give you an idea of the type of system you have without having to lay another cable. In cases where the cables are quite old iCCTV will recommend new cables to suit the quality of the security camera you require. Frequently Asked Questions
What cameras have nightvision?
All of the cameras we supply have infra red night vision which allows you to see the area and objects in black and white.
How long does it take to install a security camera?
The time is dependent on the size of your house / commercial property, the amount of cameras and how easy the access is to run the cable. In most scenarios we can do this the same day. Get in touch and give us an idea of your property for a quick quote.
Can all cameras be used in door and outdoor?
We have security cameras to suit any need, indoor and outdoor. If need be we can set up a combination; outdoor cameras which are waterproof / resistant and indoor cameras which are not waterproof.
Do you provide HD Video Cameras?
Yes, nearly all of our products are HD video cameras. We always recommend to have HD cameras and HD recording NVR, because the quality of the video is higher, you will be able to identify details a lot easier. For example if the intruder is not wearing a mask you will have a very good picture to hand over to the authorities who can then try and identify them and take prompt action. If the quality of the video is low it makes it quite difficult for police to help you.
